Arthroscopic surgery

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgery that is used for diagnostics and for the treatment of injuries and illnesses of the joints. The most often, and among patients relatively well-known is arthroscopic surgery for knee meniscuses or anterior cruciate ligaments, but in the last few years there is an exceptional expansion of arthroscopic surgery techniques also for shoulders, elbows, wrists, ankles and hips. The advantages of these types of surgery are many, among the most important ones is the possibility of ambulatory performance without hospitalization, less postoperative pain, faster recovery and lower risk of operative wound infection.
